What areas does Pro Handyman cover?
Our core service area is within roughly 25 km of Kempton Park — including Benoni, Boksburg, Germiston, Edenvale, Midrand, Alberton and Brakpan. We also work across the wider Gauteng area including Centurion, Sandton, Midrand and Pretoria for scheduled and larger projects. Travel outside the core area may be charged separately.
How do I get a quote?
Call or WhatsApp 078 328 9179, or complete the quote form on this site. Photographs help enormously — most straightforward jobs can be quoted from photos and a short conversation. Larger work is quoted after an on-site assessment.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
Yes. The call-out including the first hour is R450, with additional labour at R400 per hour. A half day is R1,400 and a full day is R2,400. Bundling several jobs into one visit means you only pay one call-out.
Are your prices fixed?
The rates published on our pricing page are starting prices. Materials are quoted separately and larger jobs are priced after an assessment. You always receive a written quote before work begins.
What qualifications does Pro Handyman hold?
Pro Handyman is certified and experienced in DStv installation, CCTV installation, projector installation and sound system installation, with more than 10 years of hands-on experience in these fields. Certificates can be provided on request.
Do you do regulated electrical and plumbing work?
We carry out general electrical and plumbing maintenance. Regulated installation work and certificates of compliance must be performed and certified by an appropriately registered person, and we will tell you upfront when a job requires one and coordinate accordingly.
Do you work with landlords, estate agents and managing agents?
Yes — rental turnarounds, tenant repairs, pre-listing work and body corporate common-area maintenance are a large part of what we do, with photographic reporting on every visit.
Can you provide before-and-after photographs?
Yes. Before-and-after documentation is standard on our work, which is particularly useful for landlords, managing agents and remote property owners.
How soon can you come out?
In our core service area around Kempton Park we can often respond the same or next working day, depending on capacity. We confirm a date and arrival window rather than leaving you waiting.
Do you supply materials?
We can collect materials on your behalf or you can supply your own. Materials are always quoted and invoiced separately from labour.
